This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use Come Say Hi websites, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Services”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Account and profile data — such as name, email address, phone number, or credentials you provide when you create or manage an account.
- Social sign-in (Facebook / Meta) — if you sign in or link your account with Facebook (Meta) Login, our authentication provider receives identifiers from Meta as part of that login, which we associate with your Come Say Hi account. - Venue and event context — information you or a venue associate with a visit, check-in, placement, or on-premise experience (for example, venue identifiers, event metadata, or staff actions taken through venue tools).
- Usage and device data — such as app or web logs, approximate diagnostics, IP address, device type, operating system, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Communications — messages you send us (for example, support requests) and related metadata.
- Information from partners — where venues or integrations connect their systems to Come Say Hi, we may receive limited data they choose to share subject to their own policies and agreements.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, personalize, and maintain the Services;
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and protect safety and security;
- Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to improve product experience;
- Communicate with you about the Services, including transactional messages and (where permitted) product updates;
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
Legal bases (where applicable)
If local law requires a “legal basis”, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract with you; legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (for example, securing our network); consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.

- Venues and event organizers where the Services are designed to surface information in a venue or event context you participate in;

We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly understood in U.S. state privacy laws.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary based on the category of data and how you use the Services.
Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. If you used Facebook (Meta) Login with Come Say Hi, Meta’s Platform Terms require that we explain how you can request deletion of data obtained through Facebook. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the country where you live.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Effective” date above. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
