Meta’s Platform Terms require us to tell you how to request deletion of data obtained through Facebook (Meta) Login. This page satisfies our User Data Deletion instructions URL for the Come Say Hi app on Meta. For the full privacy policy, see our Privacy policy.
What you can delete
You may request deletion of your Come Say Hi account and the personal data we hold about you in connection with that account — including data linked to phone sign-in, email sign-in, or third-party login providers such as Facebook (Meta) Login when you used them to create or link your account.
Option 1 — Delete your Come Say Hi account and our copies of your data (recommended)
This is the complete way to remove your profile and associated activity from Come Say Hi. Removing the app from Facebook alone (Option 2) does not always delete data we already store in our systems; use this option (and email us if you only use the web) so we can process your request end-to-end.
Mobile app (iOS / Android)
- Open the Come Say Hi app and sign in if prompted.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under Account & sign-in, tap Request account deletion.
- Follow the on-screen steps to send a deletion request by email. Include the account details shown so we can verify and complete your request.
Web or if you cannot use the app
Email support@comesayhi.com with the subject line Account deletion request. In the body, ask us to delete your Come Say Hi account and personal data, and include any information we can use to locate your account (for example, the email or phone number you used to sign in, or that you used with Facebook Login). We may reply to verify your identity before we delete data.
Option 2 — Disconnect Facebook (Meta) from your Facebook account
If you previously connected Come Say Hi using Facebook Login, you can remove that connection from Facebook. This stops future Facebook-based access; it does not by itself delete data we may already hold. For a full deletion, use Option 1 above.
- While signed into Facebook in a browser, open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Come Say Hi (or the name shown for our app), then remove or turn off access as Facebook explains on that page.
- If you removed the app and Facebook shows an option to request that we delete your data, you may use it; Meta will route that request according to your Facebook account settings. We still honor complete deletion requests sent under Option 1.
Timing and retention
We process verified deletion requests as promptly as we reasonably can. Some information may be retained for a limited period where the law requires (for example, financial or safety records) or in de-identified or aggregate form that does not identify you.
